Howlite is thought by some to be helpful the breaking of bad habits. It also said to help eliminate procrastination.

Howlite is often dyed to mimic other, more expensive stones. The most common is imitation turquoise. Real turquoise is very expensive. If a "turquoise" piece is not pricy, is is most probably dyed Howlite.

This stone is fairly soft so care should be taken in cleaning. Use a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Wipe dry.
